The high-grade non-oriented silicon steel intelligent roll grinding room facilitates production and significantly reduces labor intensity in the rolling area. It is the most automated and intelligent roll grinding room in China, equipped with an intelligent roll warehouse, RGV roll pusher, roll lifting, and turning devices, automatic disassembly machines, fully automatic roll grinding workshop management and scheduling systems, and more.

The roll grinding room is also equipped with high-precision automatic grinding machines and automatic loaders, enabling fully automatic and precise grinding of rolls, with an annual capacity of approximately 20,000 rolls. After grinding, the rolls are automatically transported to the intelligent backup roll storage area, completely replacing traditional manual operations, reducing safety risks, and doubling work efficiency. The intelligent roll grinding room's operation and management system tracks the entire lifecycle of the rolls online, achieving intelligent interaction between grinding and production.

Intelligent Roll Change and Lifecycle Tracking

Utilizing fully automatic roll change technology, the intelligent backup roll storage system can replace used rolls with new ones according to planned requirements. The intelligent grinding room's operation and management system tracks the entire lifecycle of the rolls online, achieving intelligent interaction between grinding and production.

Product Finishing and Quality Assurance

After production in the Q618 and Q718 lines, the products are further processed in the finishing area by multifunctional robots to meet customer needs. The finishing exit multifunctional robot is the first application in the steel industry of a robot combination working in unison. It consists of two six-degree-of-freedom robots, with six rotating axes including the base, waist, arm, forearm, wrist, and wrist rotation axes, allowing it to move freely in three-dimensional space to complete various tasks in the complex working conditions of the finishing area.

Control Systems and High-Precision Operations

The control system uses high-performance computers and advanced control algorithms to achieve high-precision, high-speed, and stable motion control. It also features a human-machine interface for controlling and adjusting the robots. The two "arms" can carry two high-definition cameras to scan and photograph the end faces of steel coils, with a high-end vision system that directly displays end face quality to quality inspectors. The robots are highly flexible, precise, and adaptable, suitable for efficient and automated production processes. Additionally, the two "arms" can perform tape and label applications simultaneously, doubling the efficiency of the operation.
